Round 2 Audition Workshop: 3 October, 6.20pm arrival (drop-off session)
Captured on the Rye (grey shop with orange lettering opposite the Lordship Pub), 85 Pellatt Road, East Dulwich SE22 9JD
We will be focussing on the audition and interview stage of the Music Scholarship & Aptitude Test process. Here is what to bring to the session. Please ensure you have everything ready on the list so that we can fully prepare you. This is a drop-off session. Parents to return at 7.30pm to hear a performance by all workshop participants.
- Your instrument(s). We have a digital piano available.
- Your sheet music/music books and a copy of the accompaniment. If you have a backing track, please email this to me as an MP3 file or bring on a USB memory stick. There is no CD player available but you are welcome to bring one.
Performance Requirements for Workshop:
2 well prepared pieces, ideally a contrasting style. If you are not sure about what to play, bring a large selection of pieces and I will advise. I always recommend that you choose at least one piece that is not from a graded exam syllabus.
We will also prepare answers for the interview section.
